Arsenal Target Inter Milan Midfielder Andy Diouf as €60m Price Tag Emerges
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Andy Diouf as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his options in midfield.
According to Fussball-News, the Gunners are among the leading contenders for the French international, having monitored his development for some time. Arsenal’s recruitment team reportedly view Diouf as a potential long-term addition to Arteta’s midfield, although Inter’s asking price could complicate negotiations.
Inter Set €50m-€60m Valuation
Inter could demand between €50 million and €60 million before considering a sale, according to the report. That valuation would represent a significant increase on the fee the Italian club paid to sign Diouf from Lens in August 2025.
Inter reportedly invested around €26 million, including bonuses, to secure his services. The midfielder remains under contract until June 2030, giving the Serie A side a strong negotiating position.
Arsenal Face a Difficult Negotiation
Inter consider Diouf an important part of their long-term plans and have little incentive to accept an offer below their valuation. Arsenal would therefore need to make a substantial financial commitment to convince the Italian club to consider a departure.
The Gunners’ reported interest suggests Diouf is a name on their radar as they assess potential midfield reinforcements. However, with Inter holding a long-term contract and demanding a fee of up to €60 million, any move remains dependent on whether the clubs can reach an agreement.
For now, Arsenal’s interest is reported by Fussball-News, with no agreement between the clubs indicated in the available information.
