Joy-Lance Mickels Dreams of Borussia Mönchengladbach Move as €500k Price Emerges

Joy-Lance Mickels is still hoping to secure a move to the Bundesliga, with Borussia Mönchengladbach among his preferred destinations and a potential transfer possible as early as January.

According to Sky Sport Germany, the 32-year-old winger is enjoying an impressive campaign with Sabah FK, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists. He has also found the net in the UEFA Champions League, strengthening his case for a return to German football.

Mickels Could Be Available for €500k

Despite being under contract with Sabah FK until 2028, Mickels could be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arrives. Sky Sport Germany reports that there is a verbal understanding that the winger can depart for a fee in the region of €400,000 to €500,000, provided a top offer is made.

Several clubs have already made enquiries about his availability, although no completed deal has been reported.

Mönchengladbach remain a club Mickels dreams of joining, and the January transfer window could offer an opportunity to make that ambition a reality.

His versatility across the attacking positions, combined with his current goal contributions, could attract further interest in the coming months. However, a move to the Bundesliga is not yet guaranteed, and any transfer will depend on whether an interested club makes an acceptable offer to Sabah FK.

With a relatively modest reported asking price, Mickels could emerge as an option for clubs looking to strengthen their attack without committing to a major transfer fee.
