Can Uzun Attracts Premier League and European Giants as €60m Price Tag Emerges
Can Uzun is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after young attacking talents in German football, with several major European clubs reportedly monitoring his situation at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 20-year-old Turkey international has made an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign, recording three goals and three assists in his first six appearances. His performances have continued to raise his profile after an encouraging previous season in Germany.
Primarily an attacking midfielder, Uzun can also operate as a centre-forward, giving him the versatility that makes him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen their attacking departments.
Premier League Clubs Join the Race
According to transfer journalist Ekrem Konur, Everton, Aston Villa and Brighton are among the Premier League clubs interested in signing the Frankfurt youngster.
Interest is also emerging elsewhere in Europe. Borussia Dortmund are reportedly keeping tabs on Uzun in the Bundesliga, while AC Milan and Napoli are said to be monitoring his situation in Italy’s Serie A.
Competition for his signature could therefore extend across several of Europe’s major leagues, although no agreement with any interested club has been reported.
Eintracht Frankfurt Set €60m Asking Price
Any potential transfer is likely to require a significant financial commitment. Uzun remains under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until June 2029, putting the German club in a strong negotiating position.
According to the report, his release clause stands at €60 million, a figure interested clubs would need to consider before making a move.
With six goal contributions in his first six appearances this season, Uzun is building a reputation as one of the Bundesliga’s most exciting young attacking players. Whether one of his reported suitors is prepared to meet Frankfurt’s valuation remains to be seen.
