servette dylan bronn transfer rumours

Dylan Bronn Could Leave Servette as Nantes and Gent Show Interest

Tunisia international Dylan Bronn could leave Servette FC during the January 2027 transfer window, with FC Nantes and KAA Gent reportedly interested in signing the experienced defender.

According to Africafoot, Bronn’s representatives have received enquiries from Gent and an unnamed Greek club, while Nantes are also monitoring his situation. Discussions are reportedly taking place over a possible winter departure, although no agreement has been announced.

The 31-year-old’s future in Geneva has become increasingly uncertain after he was left out of Servette’s registration for the 2026/27 Swiss Super League season and moved to the club’s U21 squad.

What It Means

Bronn’s current situation could open the door to a return to regular first-team football elsewhere in Europe. After being excluded from Servette’s senior squad, the Tunisian international needs a sporting project that offers him consistent playing opportunities.

Gent could provide a familiar destination, while Nantes would offer a return to French football. The reported interest from Greece gives Bronn’s representatives another potential option as they explore his future.

However, no club has publicly confirmed a formal offer or an agreement with Servette.

Background

Bronn has built considerable experience across European football, having played in France, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland. He previously represented Gent between 2017 and 2020 before moving to French side Metz.

His career has also included spells with Niort and Salernitana, while he has represented Tunisia at international level, including the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. He scored against Belgium at the 2018 tournament in Russia.

Despite that experience, Bronn has struggled to secure a place in Servette’s senior setup this season. His omission from the Swiss club’s league registration and subsequent involvement with the U21 team have increased uncertainty over his long-term future.

What Happens Next

January 2027 could provide an opportunity for Bronn to resolve his situation and return to senior football. Gent and Nantes are among the clubs reportedly assessing the possibility, while an unnamed Greek side has also made contact with his representatives.

The next step will depend on whether any interested club moves beyond preliminary enquiries and reaches an agreement with Servette. The defender’s own preferences and the sporting role on offer are also likely to influence his decision.

For now, Bronn remains a Servette player, and a January departure is a possibility rather than a confirmed transfer.
