Leeds United Rule Out Tarik Muharemović Exit Amid Inter Milan and Bayern Munich Interest
Leeds United are prepared to reject approaches for Tarik Muharemović, with the club reportedly determined to keep the defender beyond the January transfer window despite interest from Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.
According to TEAMtalk, Leeds have no intention of allowing the 23-year-old to leave in January and are also ready to take a firm stance over his future next summer.
Muharemović only joined Leeds from Sassuolo in the summer, signing a five-year contract running until 2031. His performances have reportedly attracted the attention of several major European clubs, with Inter having previously pursued his signature and Bayern now also monitoring his situation.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international offers versatility at the back, capable of playing as a left-sided centre-back in either a back three or a back four. Leeds view him as an important part of their long-term plans rather than a player they intend to sell for a quick profit.
TEAMtalk reports that Leeds could value the defender at more than £60 million, although the club has not officially set an asking price. That would represent a significant increase on the reported £34 million fee they paid to sign him from Sassuolo.
For now, Leeds are focused on retaining Muharemović, while Inter Milan and Bayern Munich may have to wait if they hope to make a move in a future transfer window. No formal bid or agreement has been confirmed.
